Description About the RoleThe Registered Nurse Team Lead provides direct medical and psychiatric nursing care while overseeing and supervising RN staff within the Expanded Community Services & Specialized Behavior Services (ECS/SBS) program. This role supports adults in community-based settings and ensures high-quality, recovery-oriented care through leadership, training, and clinical oversight. Location Tacoma, Spokane Valley WA area.Responsibilities• Supervise and oversee RN staff and nursing services• Facilitate individual and group supervision sessions• Provide onboarding, training, and ongoing support to nursing staff• Educate staff on policies, procedures, and psychiatric medication management• Collaborate with leadership to implement and monitor organizational policies• Approve staff timecards, leave requests, and employment status changes• Complete staff performance evaluations and corrective actions as needed• Provide coverage for RN staff during absences or service gaps• Conduct ongoing client assessments including physiological, psychological, and cognitive status• Follow prescriber-directed care plans and nursing diagnoses• Complete monthly medication reviews for assigned clients• Prioritize client care based on needs and available resources• Communicate effectively with clients and care teams• Provide in-service training on medical and psychiatric nursing topics• Assist clients with linkage to medical providers and follow up on prescriptions and authorizations• Administer medications, including injections, and document appropriately• Collaborate with treatment team members on care plans• Obtain medication consents when appropriate• Participate in staff meetings, case presentations, and clinical discussions• Consult regularly with prescribers regarding client care• Facilitate monthly RN meetings and address clinical concerns• Identify and report unusual client situations to medical leadership• Perform additional duties as assignedRecovery Requirements• Provide the highest level of customer care•Identifyand build on strengths of clients, staff, and communities• Support client recovery and wellness journeys• Promote a culture that values diversity and inclusion• Embrace continuous learning and professional development•Utilizeevidence-based practices to ensureoptimaloutcomesRequired Qualifications• Current active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Washington State• Valid Washington State driver’s license and active auto insurance• Minimum of three (3) years of psychiatric nursing experience• At least one (1) year of psychiatric nursing training with knowledge of psychotropic medications• Strong clinical, organizational, and communication skills• Intermediate computer proficiency• Ability to work collaboratively and lead a multidisciplinary teamPreferred Qualifications• Experience working with severely and chronically mentally ill populations• Experience in community clinics or residential treatment settings• Teaching or staff training experienceCompensation & BenefitsFull-time Employees:• Paid vacation days (increase with tenure)• Separate sick leave that rolls over annually• Up to 10 paid holidays• Medical, dental, and vision insurance options•DailyPay- access your earnings without waiting for payday• Training, development, and continuing education opportunitiesAll Employees:• 401(k)• Employee Assistance Program (EAP)• Pet insurance• Perks @Clarvida- national discounts on shopping, travel, Verizon, and entertainment• Mileage reimbursement• Company cellphone(*Benefits may vary by state or county)Work LocationWashington Spokane Valley, Tacoma WA(Community-Based; travel within communityrequired)Employment Type Full-timeSalary $105-115k annuallyHow to ApplyIf you are a strong clinical leader with a passion for psychiatric nursing and team development, click “Apply Now” to joinClarvidaas a Registered Nurse Team Lead.About ClarvidaClarvida is a leader in behavioral health care, providing recovery-focused, community-based mental health and substance use services.
