Commercial Litigation Attorney

Description We are looking for an experienced Commercial Litigation Attorney to join our team in Santa Rosa, California. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in civil litigation, particularly in commercial, real estate, and employment law. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on complex cases, including trial preparation and appellate work, in a collaborative and detail-oriented environment. Responsibilities: u2022 Draft and review legal briefs, motions, and other court documents with precision and clarity. u2022 Conduct thorough discovery processes, including taking and defending depositions. u2022 Develop and execute litigation strategies for commercial, real estate, and employment law cases. u2022 Prepare for and participate in mediations, trials, and appeals, including second-chair trial responsibilities. u2022 Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored legal solutions. u2022 Manage case files and ensure compliance with court deadlines and procedural requirements. u2022 Conduct legal research to support case strategies and arguments. u2022 Work closely with colleagues to prepare for trial and other litigation milestones. u2022 Represent clients in court and during settlement negotiations. u2022 Stay updated on legal developments and apply them effectively to ongoing cases. Requirements u2022 Licensed attorney with active membership in the California State Bar. u2022 Minimum of five years of experience in civil litigation, with a focus on commercial, real estate, or employment law. u2022 Strong skills in drafting motions, legal briefs, and other court documents. u2022 Proven ability to manage discovery processes, including depositions and document review. u2022 Familiarity with trial preparation and second-chair trial experience. u2022 Effective communication and client relationship management skills. u2022 Strong legal research and analytical abilities. u2022 Commitment to working in-office in Santa Rosa, California.
