Job Title: Commercial Carpenter Pay: $25-$35/hour Location: Capital Region of NY Shift: 7:00AM-3:30PM, Monday through Friday Job Description We are partnering with a wellu2011established, locally respected construction firm specializing in commercial projects valued between $1M and $3M. Known for delivering exceptional craftsmanship and dependable service, we are looking for a skilled carpenter to join our growing team. This role involves building, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures across a variety of commercial environments, including mixedu2011use developments, office spaces, gas stations, fastu2011food restaurants, and commercial upfit projects. Responsibilities + Interpret blueprints, drawings, and project specifications to understand scope and requirements + Measure, cut, and shape wood, plastics, and other materials using hand and power tools + Install framing, drywall, doors, windows, flooring, trim, and other structural components + Inspect, repair, or replace damaged frameworks and fixtures + Work collaboratively with project managers, subcontractors, and other trades to meet deadlines and budget goals + Follow all local building codes, safety standards, and company policies + Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in safe, functional condition Essential Skills + 2+ years of experience in commercial or residential remodel construction + Ability to read and use a tape measure accurately + Proficiency with standard hand and power tools + OSHA 10 certification + Solid understanding of carpentry methods, materials, and best practices + Valid driveru2019s license and reliable transportation Why Work Here?
