Description We are looking for an experienced AR Specialist to join our team in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. This is a Contract to permanent position that offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to financial operations and reporting. The ideal candidate will excel in managing accounts receivable processes, ensuring accurate financial records, and supporting monthly closing activities. Responsibilities: + Manage the creation, review, and processing of invoices and cash receipts, ensuring alignment with department guidelines and contract requirements. + Handle the organization and timing of bank deposits, confirming their accuracy and completeness. + Oversee tenant billing, verifying adherence to contractual obligations. + Investigate and resolve questions or issues related to accounts receivable. + Systematically maintain accounts receivable documentation, including tenant and payment records. + Carry out collection activities for overdue accounts. + Compile and submit both internal and external financial reports as needed. + Support month-end closing activities by calculating and preparing accruals and journal entries. + Log utility usage readings for the purpose of tenant billing. + Track and update monthly statistics related to operations. + Participate in the planning and creation of the annual revenue budget. + Conduct variance analysis and assist with special projects as required.
