As an engineer on an Agile Scrum Team, you will have the opportunity to rapidly develop and deploy solutions for a complex space system following core engineering principles, ultimately enabling the delivery of fully functioning mission capability to end users securely and continuously. Basic Qualifications: u2022 Recent experience in software development using JavaScript, Node.js, and Java for full-stack development u2022 Recent JavaScript library experience with web-based components (e.g., Lit, React, Angular) u2022 Experience with Git/Gitlab/Git Bash for software version control u2022 Experience with CI/CD - Deployment pipelines, automated build, and configuration tools u2022 Experience with application containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, Rancher, etc.) in a cloud environment (AWS/Azure/Openstack/Openshift) u2022 Experience working in an Agile development environment, using tools such as Jira and Confluence u2022 Bacheloru2019s degree in a computer science, computer engineering, other engineering discipline, or equivalent experience u2022 Familiarity with software test best practices, including unit test, integration test, and end-to-end test u2022 US Citizenship Required: No clearance required to start but must be able to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI security clearance Desired Skills: u2022 Experience with API design and development, such as RESTful APIs u2022 Knowledge of database management systems, such as PostgreSQL or MySQL u2022 Experience with microservices and microservice architecture u2022 Experience with SpringBoot or Quarkus for backend Java development u2022 Experience with LIT for JS front-end u2022 Experience with HTML/CSS u2022 Experience with Helm charts for infrastructure as code (IaC) u2022 Familiarity with the Space Domain u2022 Ability to communicate effectively and work in a collaborative environment u2022 Experience in running unit tests with Playwright and/or integration testing with Cucumber u2022 Experience working on large-scale software projects with multiple teams and stakeholders #LMSpaceSoftwareEng #SpaceSecurity Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration. Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
