Accounting Manager/Supervisor

Description We are looking for an experienced Accounting Manager to join our client in Cary, North Carolina. In this hybrid role, you will oversee crucial financial operations, including reporting across multiple entities, and play a key role in managing accounts payable and receivable processes. This position offers the opportunity to collaborate with senior finance leaders while ensuring the integrity and accuracy of financial data. Responsibilities: u2022 Manage general ledger activities, including monthly close processes, reconciliations, and the preparation of financial reports. u2022 Supervise accounts payable and receivable functions, ensuring timely transaction reviews and follow-ups. u2022 Monitor cash flow and contribute to financial forecasting efforts to support organizational goals. u2022 Coordinate annual audits and ensure compliance with applicable financial reporting standards. u2022 Maintain precise financial records, including fixed assets, tax filings, and banking transactions. u2022 Provide financial data and reporting support to internal teams, fostering informed decision-making. u2022 Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and best practices in financial management. u2022 Collaborate with senior leadership to align financial strategies with organizational objectives. Requirements u2022 Bacheloru2019s degree in Accounting or a related field is required. u2022 Public Accounting Experience, and CPA license strongly preferred u2022 Minimum of 3 years of detail-oriented experience in accounting, including budgeting and multi-entity reporting. u2022 Proficiency in accounts payable and receivable processes, as well as audits and tax filings. u2022 Strong analytical skills with a commitment to accuracy and detail. u2022 Excellent organizational and communication abilities. u2022 Familiarity with financial systems or platforms such as QB, Great Planes is highly beneficial. u2022 Capacity to manage multiple priorities and meet strict deadlines. u2022 A collaborative approach and detail-oriented demeanor in all interactions.
