Job Description Our client is seeking Senior Backend Java Developers to provide hands-on development and delivery support for healthcare data pipeline initiatives. This individual will work closely with a Principal Engineer and senior technical team members to design, build, and support scalable backend services and Java-based ETL pipelines in a cloud environment. This role is ideal for a strong Java/Spring Boot with deep backend experience, AWS exposure, and database expertise who can own end-to-end development, support postu2013go-live operations, and contribute in a fast-moving, delivery-focused environment. Key Responsibilities - Design, develop, and enhance backend services and data pipeline components using Java and Spring Boot - Build and support ETL pipelines for ingestion, transformation, and enrichment of healthcare data - Perform endu2011tou2011end backend development, including database integration and API/service layer implementation - Work closely with the Principal Engineer on architecture, implementation, and technical decisions - Develop services that retrieve and process data from PostgreSQL databases and expose results through Spring Boot applications - Support AWS-based deployments and cloud-native backend services - Contribute to and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins - Use Git/Bitbucket workflows for source control, including code reviews, branching, merging, and versioning - Troubleshoot and resolve issues in production and nonu2011production environments - Provide postu2013go-live support, bug fixes, and operational support as needed - Participate in code reviews and follow engineering best practices - Contribute to technical documentation, design discussions, and implementation planning - Communicate technical status, risks, and recommendations to stakeholders Compensation: $15/hr - $25/hr USD.
