We are a globalteam focused on disciplined capital allocation and long-term valuecreation for all stakeholders, who care deeply about our impact oncommunities and the wider world.Your Impact & Opportunity- As an Intern, you will be placed in one of our dynamic lines of business within Insurance or Reinsurance```{=html}```- You will support our casualty and property teams in the day-to-day underwriting process as well as meet with brokers as part of the overall internship.```{=html}```- Collaborate on the pre-qualification of deals and provide summaries to the underwriting team for submission flow.```{=html}```- Assist in classifying allsubmissions received, quoted, declined etc. from our trackerfor reporting and data analytics.```{=html}```- Shadow underwriters - Information gathering and exposure analysis.```{=html}```- Monitor rate change reports and similar account tracking reports.```{=html}```- Grow and develop while participating in a variety of leader led, professional and personal development workshops, networking events, and the like.```{=html}```- Start strong-your internship experience prepares you for a smooth transition into our Rotational Development ProgramWhat You Bring: Experience & Qualifications- You are a junior pursuing a bachelor's degree at an accredited college/university```{=html}```- Proficiency in Microsoft Office software, especially Excel```{=html}```- Excellent analytical, organizational, communication and collaboration skills```{=html}```- Leadership or involvement in extracurricular activities, campus clubs/organizations, your community, etc.```{=html}```- Ability to work in a high volume, fast paced environment while managing multiple projects and prioritiesEverest does not provide visa sponsorship for this position.Successful candidates must possess the requisite permanent US employmentauthorization to be eligible for considerationThe salary for this position is $800 - $1,000 per week. The offeredrate of compensation will be based on individual education, experience,qualifications and work location.
