Position Summary TheDishwasher will be responsible for proper cleanliness, maintenance, andsanitation of all dishes, utensils, pots and pans, kitchen equipment, andkitchen areas. Overview of Responsibilities u25cfWash dishes, glassware, utensils, flatware, pots orpans, utilizing proper cleaning supplies and equipment u25cfProperly scrape and sort dishes prior to loading into dishwasher u25cfMaintain kitchen work areas, equipment, or utensils inclean and orderly condition u25cfUnload dishwashers, restock and place clean dishes,utensils, or cooking equipment in proper storage areas u25cfMaintain dishwashing machine, including adequatelevels of detergents and cleaning supplies, and report any inventory shortageand/or mechanical faults to supervisor u25cfClean and sanitize floors, drainers, freezer andcooler u25cfUtilize proper equipment, including hand trucks, tomove supplies from storage to work areas u25cfReport to work at the scheduled time, neatly groomedand in the correct uniform u25cfBag kitchen trash and discard in a dumpster atintervals u25cfMaintain adequate levels of detergents and othercleaning supplies u25cfPlace clean dishes, utensils, or cooking equipment inproper storage areas u25cfSort and remove trash, placing it in designated pickupareas u25cfAid in efforts to control glassware breakage or lossby handling items with care u25cfPerform other reasonably assigned duties as perbusiness need and/or assigned by management Minimum Qualifications u25cfPrior maintenance experience in high-volume, fast paced restaurantor similar environment preferred u25cfExceptional guest service and hospitality skills u25cfStrong organizational skills, attention to detail, and work ethic u25cfExcellent interpersonal skills; able to work both as a team andindependently u25cfAbility to take direction, and communicate effectively andprofessionally u25cfAbility to perform physical requirements of position includingstanding for extended periods of time, kneeling, stooping, using stairs, ableto lift loads of up to 50 lbs.
