Description V2X Engineering Solutions is seeking a Training and Logistics Senior Systems Engineer II to join our team. The Training and Logistics Senior Systems Engineer II will perform the development of training solutions within a team along with supporting and developing customersu2019 training aids, training packages and conduct classroom training sessions for customer training events and exercises. In this role, the Training and Logistics Senior Systems Engineer II will also develop training manuals and training documentation, support other personnel conducting training sessions in a classroom environment, and develop training support for fielded and developing systems. Additionally, the Training and Logistics Senior Systems Engineer II will develop and assist in the development of Logistics Development Plans (LDP), support sustainment activities that include tracking and analyzing parts consumption and maintenance trends, implementing a Diminishing Manufacturing Sources and Material Shortages (DMSMS) analysis and obsolescence program, track modifications and technology refreshes to developed systems, and support the implementation of a Failure Reporting, Analysis, and Corrective Action System (FRACAS) for different programs the team supports. The Training and Logistics Senior Systems Engineer II, as part of the Engineering Sustainment team, will also develop UI/UX solutions to support hardware and software systems when needed. As such, the Training and Logistics Senior Systems Engineer II will interface with a multi-discipline team to ensure the training packages are adapted to customeru2019s training systems. This teamu2019s primary location is in Indianapolis, IN. Travel to customer locations is expected up to 10% of the time. Required Skills: + Minimum of 8 years of engineering or Military training manual development experience. + U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance + Strong written, verbal and presentation skills + Strong interpersonal and project management skills, with the ability to manage and provide direction to supporting life cycle engineering personnel + Experience performing Logistics engineering including design and modeling for equipment and management of storage and shipping in response to customer needs in accordance with DoD or equivalent industry standards or practices. + Familiarity with reliability engineering handbook and standards including MIL-HDBK-217, MIL-STD-690, ANSI-GEIA-STD-0009, MIL-HDBK-338, MIL-STD-1543, MIL-STD-189, MIL-STD-781, MIL-STD-785, or equivalent industry standards or practices. + Familiarity with Power Log J and other logistics analysis and component obsolescence tools. + Familiarity with Reliability Centered Maintenance concepts and analysis in accordance with MIL-STD-3034A. Desired Skills: + Understanding of Software Development Lifecycle (including Agile and/or Waterfall) + Experience with the development of training packages and documents for military systems Experience developing proposals and basis of estimates + Experience working with very large, complex systems. + Experience implementing and tracking Diminishing Manufacturing Sources and Material Shortages (DMSMS)and obsolescence programs in accordance with DoD SD-22. + Experience with training manual and Technical Manual development. + Experience with UI/UX tools and usage with developing training solutions and presentations. + Experience with the development of training packages and documents for military systems. Education Requirements: + Bacheloru2019s degree in Engineering or a related Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM) degree. Note: A Masteru2019s degree in Engineering or a related Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM) degree may be counted as the equivalent of 2 years of engineering experience.
