Responsibilities Neurosurgery NP/PA (Advanced Practice Provider) position for inpatient and outpatient practice managing vascular, cranial, and spine neurosurgical patients. Consists of inpatient and clinic management, OR first assist, and first call including stroke response. In-house call shifts approximately once per week, covering days and nights with post-call day off. Opportunities to participate in research and education available. Neurosurgery experience preferred, new grads will be considered with ideal qualifications. Current FL APRN license and certification as a FNP, ANP or ACNP. Physician Assistant: Graduate of accredited Physician Assistant program with current PA certification by NCCPA and registration as a PA by the FL State Board of Medical Practice. Additional Qualifications: Active BLS and ACLS certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross at start date and DEA registration required Exemption Status Exempt Compensation Detail Education, experience and tenure may be considered along with internal equity when job offers are extended Benefits Eligible Yes Schedule Full Time Hours/Pay Period 80 Schedule Details This position has variable coverage with day and night call on a rotation with fellow APPs and residents physicians. Weekend Schedule Weekend call schedule is on a rotation with fellow APPs and resident physicians.
