We are seeking a _Data Analyst_ who will review and analyze data. The Data Analyst will create reports, dashboards, and presentations for stakeholders and/or leadership and utilize findings to aid in decision-making. Specific Duties & Responsibilities + Collect and analyze quantitative and qualitative data in accordance with applicable privacy laws such as PERPA/HIPAA. + Communicate findings compellingly and visually through dashboards, reports, briefing decks, stories, scorecards, executive briefings, etc. For different audiences using solutions like Power BI and Tableau. Proofread and edit reports and other products of office to attain consistency of format. + Regular outreach to offices to learn about upcoming surveys scheduled; maintain up to date documentation. + Assist with the development of a detailed communication strategy and plan for the office/assigned area. + Maintain office website and produce materials in coordination with the divisional communications team. + Other duties as assigned. _In Addition to the Duties Listed Above_ + The Data Analyst will specifically support The Challenge Initiative (TCI). TCI is a global platform led by the William H. Gates Sr. Institute for Population and Reproductive Health at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health that partners with local governments to sustainably scale proven high-impact interventions in family planning, with expansion into broader primary health priorities in some settings. Since 2016, TCI has worked across 214 local governments in 13 countries in Africa and Asia, supporting cities and subnational governments to lead implementation, strengthen health systems, and institutionalize effective approaches for lasting impact at scale. Minimum Qualifications + Bachelor's Degree. + Three years of related experience. + Additional education may substitute for required experience, and additional related experience may substitute for required education beyond a high school diploma/graduation equivalent, to the extent permitted by the JHU equivalency formula. Preferred Qualifications + Masteru2019s Degree in Public Health or similar areas + Proficiency in data analysis softwares like STATA, R, Python. + Experience with no-code databases like Knack. + Experience with use of AI agents and chatbots for quantitative and qualitative work. Technical Qualifications & Specialized Certifications + Experience using software for data analysis (Tableau, Power BI, Excel).
