This role focuses onu00a0production supportu00a0within a complex BI application and data warehouse environment---analyzing, troubleshooting, and resolving ETL/workflow failures, performing deep data research, and implementing fixes to improve long-term stability and performance.Position Overview for the Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst II:- Provide production support for BI systems in a complex application and data warehouse environment.- Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve critical ETL/workflow failures; determine failure points and drive root-cause resolution.- Utilize workflow monitoring tools to identify failures, then trace components and interpret workflow/session logs.- Perform in-depth data research to provide clarity, validate fixes, and support process improvement initiatives.- Collaborate with cross-functional IT teams to resolve complex issues and recommend optimal solutions.- Support routine and ad-hoc changes/deployments for source teams, including proactive support activities.- Manage ticket queue; resolve issues and escalate appropriately with clear communication.- Develop and maintain technical documentation, procedures, and knowledge articles.- Participate in an on-call rotation (one week every sixth week).Requirements for the Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst II:- Experience withu00a0Informatica (or equivalent ETL tool).- Experience withu00a0ActiveBatch (or comparable enterprise scheduling tool).- Hands-on experience supportingu00a0ETL data movement in a production operations roleu00a0(troubleshooting and resolving failures).- Ability to interpret SQL syntax across multiple database platforms (e.g.,u00a0SQL Server, Oracle, Netezza, DB2, etc.).- Understanding ofu00a0SDLCu00a0processes.- Linux/Unixu00a0skills, including navigating directories, understanding file permissions/environment variables, reading shell scripts, and usingu00a0vi.Nice to have:- Development experience in an operations-focused role.- Cloud data warehouse experience.pay transparency:u00a030--32/hr W2All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or status as a protected veteran.
