Accounts Payable Specialist

Description We are looking for an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team on a long-term contract basis. Responsibilities: u2022 Process a high volume of invoices, handling 800u20131,000 per month, including data entry, approvals, and resolving discrepancies. u2022 Manage full-cycle accounts payable responsibilities, taking ownership of assigned vendors and related tasks. u2022 Perform 2- and 3-way matching using NetSuite or similar systems to ensure accurate processing. u2022 Reconcile vendor statements and address any outstanding issues. u2022 Maintain and oversee the accounts payable inbox, ensuring timely invoice uploads. u2022 Audit and reconcile corporate credit card transactions to ensure compliance and accuracy. u2022 Review and process employee expense reports, including those submitted through Concur. u2022 Contribute to ongoing AP projects and support process improvements, including automation initiatives. u2022 Help stabilize workflows by managing current AP workload and identifying areas for efficiency. Requirements u2022 Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in all tasks. u2022 Proficiency in Excel, including the use of vlookups and pivot tables. u2022 Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment, managing workload and communications effectively. u2022 Experience with high-volume accounts payable processing is a strong advantage. u2022 Familiarity with NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, or similar accounting systems is preferred. u2022 Knowledge of expense processing tools like Concur is a plus. u2022 Strong organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple priorities. u2022 Excellent problem-solving abilities, particularly in resolving invoice discrepancies.
