Why is this Respiratory Therapist role different This role offers flexibility between office and field work based on branch needs, a predictable weekday schedule, and a collaborative on-call rotation with a small RT team. It is a great opportunity for both new graduates and experienced RTs who enjoy hands-on patient care and education. Key highlights + Work Arrangement: On-site; office vs. road time varies based on branch needs. + Hours: 8:30 AM u2013 5:00 PM. + Driving Distance: Up to 1 hour from the branch. + Reimbursements: Mileage $0.70, parking, tolls. Salary range + $34.50 u2013 $35.25 per hour. Compensation offered may vary based on job-related factors such as experience, skills, education and location. On-Call transparency + Rotates every 3rd week. What youu2019ll do + Conduct home visits to perform oxygen, CPAP/BiPAP, and ventilation equipment setups and followu2011ups. + Educate patients and caregivers on equipment use, cleaning, troubleshooting, and maintenance. + Assess patient needs, document care delivered, and escalate concerns appropriately. + Respond to hospital discharge requests and support patient needs, + Collaborating with physicians, case managers, and internal branch teams. + Maintain accurate documentation using iPad/laptop. + Set up and operate various types of respiratory care equipment, including, but not limited to, oxygen therapy, nebulization therapy, apnea monitoring, suctioning, PAP, invasive and non-invasive ventilation. + Inspects and tests equipment to ensure proper operating condition. + Perform clinical assessments and tests such as pulse oximetry, ETCO2, spirometry and gathering vital signs. + Performs other duties as required. What we look for + Registered Respiratory Therapist with an active OK RT license. + Ability to stand, lift, push and/or pull objects ranging from 10 u2013 50 lbs. + Valid driver's license. + Comfortable using mobile technology, navigation tools, and digital documentation. Education + Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program. Certificates, licenses, registrations or professional designations + Hold a current RCP license in the state of practice (or states that the location covers) if that state requires an RCP license to allow the practice of respiratory therapy. + Hold a current CPR Certification. + Hold all applicable licensure in good standing for all states of practice.
