Lead Analyst, Collections Analytics Location: Wilmington, DE (Hybrid Schedule) We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our Analytics team in Wilmington, DE as a Lead Analyst. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in the implementation and optimization of collections, loss mitigation, and credit risk analytics across both our proprietary platforms and thirdu2011party partner channels, including Debt Settlement Agency (DSA) and resolutionu2011based recovery programs. You will leverage your technical expertise to translate analytical intent into functional solutions, ensuring accurate data, scalable execution, and actionable insights to support business decisionu2011making. Responsibilities + Collaborate with risk analysts, strategy partners, and data scientists to translate analytical intent into efficient and reliable analytical solutions supporting DSA and debt settlement strategy execution + Work crossu2011functionally with Collections Strategy, Operations, Finance, Product, Compliance, and Technology teams to support implementation, monitoring, and optimization of DSAu2011related initiatives + Pull, validate, and maintain recurring datasets and reporting for internal stakeholders and external partners; support ad hoc investigations and followu2011ups related to those reports + Support ad hoc analyses tied to strategy tests, Monthly Business Reviews, and secondu2011order performance questions + Develop, curate, and document analytical views, controls, and validations to increase transparency and standardization across ongoing DSA processes + Perform data quality checks, reconciliations, and rootu2011cause analysis to ensure accuracy, consistency, and trust in analytics supporting decisionu2011making + Produce descriptive and exploratory analyses to advance the DSA learning agenda and inform future strategy development + Partner with thirdu2011party vendor partners to support data evaluation, reporting, and integration efforts + Ensure efficient delivery of analytical work with high quality and timeliness + Continually assess and enhance the scalability, efficiency, and documentation of analytics, reporting, and monitoring processes Requirements + Bacheloru2019s or Masteru2019s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering, Economics, or a related quantitative field + Proven experience in analytics or software development roles within financial services, risk management, or collections environments + 4+ yearsu2019 experience designing and developing datau2011driven analytical solutions using Python and related frameworks + Proficiency in Python, SQL, and objectu2011oriented programming; experience writing reusable, wellu2011documented code + Experience working with large datasets, recurring reporting, and analytical controls + Experience with working in reporting tools such as Power BI + Familiarity with version control tools (Git) and collaborative development practices + Strong analytical, problemu2011solving, and communication skills + Ability to work independently while supporting multiple workstreams in a fastu2011paced environment + Preferred: Experience supporting collections, recovery, or resolutionu2011based credit strategies, including work with thirdu2011party agencies or debt settlement programs Who We Are OneMain Financial (NYSE: OMF) is the leader in offering nonprime customers responsible access to credit and is dedicated to improving the financial well-being of hardworking Americans.
