This role plays a vital part in ensuring materials, parts, and equipment move safely and efficiently throughout operations. Role Overview As a Logistics Specialist, you will support critical supply chain and warehouse operations that directly impact production efficiency and customer satisfaction. Your work will help maintain compliance, streamline shipping processes, and ensure the right materials are available at the right time. Key Responsibilities + Operate a forklift to move and transport products safely and efficiently + Complete HAZMAT paperwork for items transported to other on-site locations + Perform internal warehouse and stores inspections in preparation for live audits + Assist Shipping with packing, boxing, crating, and preparing shipments + Drive to local supplier sites to retrieve inventory (valid driveru2019s license required) + Prepare shipments for Alt Solutions + Prepare Outside Service shipments + Maintain crate orders and provide accurate dimensions and weights to suppliers + Monitor and respond to email requests from internal production and support departments + Answer daily production inquiries regarding parts, tooling, and chemicals + Relay shipping information to Account Service Representatives and customers as needed + Maintain up-to-date required training within the COMPANY Plateau platform Required Qualifications + Current and valid Driveru2019s License + Forklift operation experience + Experience preparing shipments, including packing, boxing, and crating + Familiarity with HAZMAT documentation and shipping procedures + Strong organizational skills and attention to detail + Effective written and verbal communication skills + Ability to work in a warehouse and production environment Preferred Qualifications + Experience in aviation, aerospace, or another highly regulated industry + Experience supporting audit preparation and compliance inspections + Background in inventory retrieval and supplier coordination + Familiarity with warehouse management systems or online training platforms Ready to Apply?
