English TeacherShape Tomorrow's LeadersFork Union Military Academy is a private, Christian, all-boys boarding military school located in the scenic heart of Central Virginia, serving grades 7-12 and postgraduate students. We are seeking an English Teacher who can deliver strong instruction in literature and writing, maintain clear classroom standards, and contribute to a structured, mission-driven school community.ResponsibilitiesTeach assigned English courses in literature and writingDevelop and implement lesson plans, curriculum, and assessmentsUtilize effective classroom management strategies to support a structured learning environmentProvide timely, constructive feedback and assess student progressSupport student growth through differentiated instruction and engagementCollaborate with faculty and staff to support student successQualificationsBachelor's degree in English, Education, or a related field (required)Prior teaching experience, preferably in secondary education (strongly preferred)Virginia teaching license or eligibility (strongly preferred)Strong communication and classroom management skillsWork EnvironmentThis position operates within a structured, student-centered boarding school environment and involves regular interaction with cadets, faculty, and residential staff.
