Physical Therapist in Locust Grove, GA

Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A licensed physical therapist is sought to assess, plan, and participate in rehabilitative programs designed to improve patient mobility, relieve pain, increase strength, and prevent deformity caused by disease or injury. This role requires delivering patient-centered care across the full continuum in a cost-conscious and quality-focused manner, while ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement individualized physical therapy treatment plans in collaboration with patients, families, and physicians. Select appropriate therapeutic activities to advance patient goals and revise plans of care as needed. Provide patient and family education, discharge instructions, and referrals to community resources. Document evaluations, treatment sessions, and educational activities per departmental guidelines. Maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to ethical practices at all times. Communicate effectively with interdisciplinary teams and foster a supportive, respectful environment. Participate in professional development, mandatory education, and orientation of new staff. Observe infection prevention and safety protocols, and utilize resources efficiently. Apply customer service principles consistently to enhance patient and coworker experience. Qualifications and Desired Experience: Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy. Valid Physical Therapist (PT) license. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (American Red Cross or equivalent). Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Customer service-oriented and team player. Basic computer proficiency. Schedule: Day shift, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. One weekend day every 4 weeks.
