Bill Young DoD Donor Center. Reports directly to the supervisor. Works with the Associate Director, other donor center staff, various military installations, civilian hospitals, and other NMDP network partners to ensure timely location of donors, coordination of sample collection and medical testing of potential donors. Conducts medical screening information of all DoD volunteer preliminary match donors. These functions are performed in accordance with the philosophy, policies, procedures, and standards of Georgetown University medical Center.Work InteractionsThe Preliminary Match Coordinator interacts with other Donor Center personnel, and transplant center personnel.Requirements and QualificationsMinimum requirement of Bachelor’s degree in nursing or health-related field preferred.
