Kforce has a client that is seeking a Google Looker Developer in Hershey, PA.nnSummary:nThis role is critical for leveraging the power of Google Looker to provide valuable data insights and drive data-informed decision-making within the organization. This role will be crucial in building and maintaining data models in Looker, developing insightful reports and dashboards in Looker Studio, and ensuring the security and governance of data assets.nnDuties:n Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable data models using LookML; Define dimensions, measures, calculated fields, and aggregates to support business requirementsn Establish relationships between different data sources and ensure data integrity within the Looker modeln Utilize Looker 's semantic layer to create a single source of truth for data analysisn Design and develop interactive and user-friendly reports and dashboards in Looker Studio; Ensure reports and dashboards adhere to data governance and security policiesn Create compelling visualizations to effectively communicate data insights; Implement filtering, parameters, and drill-down capabilities to enhance user interactionn Collaborate with stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and translate them into effective Looker Studio solutionsn Administer the Looker application, including user management, roles, and permissions by managing data access and sharing within the Looker environment; Implement and maintain security protocols to ensure data confidentiality and integrityn Work closely with data analysts and business stakeholders to understand their data needs and translate them into technical solutionsn Provide guidance and support to end-users on how to effectively use Looker and Looker Studion Contribute to the development of data-driven insights and recommendations; Participate in data governance initiatives to ensure data quality and consistencyn Perform other duties as assigned
