Come and enjoy a great working environment where all staff are made to feel welcome!Responsibilities:As a Nursing Supervisor your responsibilities include:Assists the DON with planning, directing, and supervising the activities of the nursing staff.Ensures the Nursing Department is in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.Develop, implement and update department policy and procedures when necessary or as directed.Assists with staffing to ensure Resident needs and regulatory requirements are met at all times.Participates in Federal, State and Local agency annual surveys.Reviews any deficiencies noted by government agencies during inspections and assists with the implementation of changes needed to correct any deficiencies found. Completes annual performance reviews of all subordinate staff. Provides guidance and education to staff in regards to their performance.Maintain accuracy of patient recordsReport and investigate incidents thoroughly and timelyMaintain the self-respect, personal dignity, and physical needs of each patientAssist physicians during roundsProvide guidance and training for aidesDemonstrates proficient nursing skillsQualifications:Current State License as a Registered Nurse or LPNHigh school graduate/GED,Long-term care experience, good communication skillsBenefits Include:Generous compensation packagePaid Time OffPaid HolidaysInsurance including Medical Dental and VisionSupplemental benefits available as well401K PlanDaily Pay
