Job Description The University of Nevada, Las Vegas invites applications for Healthcare Activity Compliance Officer, Dean’s Office, School of Dental Medicine [R0150384]ROLE of the POSITIONProvides independent compliance oversight to dental administration and senior leadership of the UNLV School of Dental Medicine. Position is to ensure that SDM is adhering to business processes established by NSHE, state, and federal statutes and guidelines, and to set improvements for internal school policies, regulations and procedures. This role involves conducting periodic assessment of school operations to ascertain if compliant with internal and external rules and guidelines. This person will assess risk within the unit and develop and implement necessary strategies to minimize the risk of non-compliance within the broad spectrum of the academic dental institution to include Healthcare areas. Position will work with dental administration to assist with best practices in maintaining effective compliance with policies and procedures within the School of Dental Medicine, as a component within NSHE.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSThis position requires a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university as recognized by the United States Department of Education and/or the Council on Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) and seven (7) years of supervisory, management and related experience.
