The RoleThe Training Coordinator will work with the Manager, Training & Safety to develop, coordinate, schedule, document, and deliver training to Metagenics employees. This position will have particular emphasis on tracking and documenting the training conducted at the Gig Harbor Manufacturing facility, to meet GMP certification requirements. The Training Coordinator will also help coordinate training sessions and assist with the delivery of training materials to employees. Key ResponsibilitiesCreate, and update Employee training files as needed, to meet the GMP certification requirements.Assign SOP reading assignments to employees and document reading list completions into employee training files and computer databases.Ensure the proper documentation and database entries are input, and ensure all newly revised SOP training are provided to the appropriate personnel, etc. Sort and file training documents into employee files.Assign training tasks and assessments per job duty and track training progress using training databases.Assist with the on-boarding of new employees by conducting new hire orientation training sessions as needed. Facilitate respirator fit testing per State and OSHA regulations, including using respirators as part of the testing process.Deliver forklift operator training per State and OSHA regulations. Ensure that training records are updated and maintained for all Metagenics employees.Assist with scheduling, coordinating, and/or deliver other employee training, primarily at the Gig Harbor location.Deliver (and revise as needed working in conjunction with QA/QC), GMP Overview and general SOP training.Run reports to evaluate training needs. Communicate with Safety and Training Manager to ensure training is completed.
