Integrated Healthcare Pharmacy, LLC is full retail pharmacy created to service all AltaPointe patients. It's goal is to increase patient adherenceto their medication compliance by providing a convenient, customer centered option.The location is in our Adult Outpatient Program, where we provide the least restrictive level of care to adults so that they may receive clinical interventions aimed at decreasing existing signs and symptoms. Outpatient treatment focuses on recovery, problem resolution, symptom reduction, stabilization and/or prevention of movement to a higher level of care. Treatment varies widely and depends upon the consumer’s presenting symptoms.Answers telephone for pharmacy departmentAssists in notifying physician for any order changes or order expirationsProperly identifies consumer profile and medication to ensure its correct dispensationResponsible for removing any outdated medicationsReceives and posts stock medication from Amerisource BergenReviews and signs each invoice to ensure correct medication receivedAssists medical staff with obtaining consumer prescription historyConducts appropriate consultations with other staff members in reference to consumer medicationAssists in maintaining adequate supply of medications in the Pharmacy and Pyxis MedStationsAssists in inventory control and counting inventoryAssists in maintaining required pharmacy reports and prescription filesFollows all policies and procedures set forth by the Alabama Board of PharmacyMaintains medical, prescription and supply stockCollects dispensing fees or makes necessary arrangements for paymentProvides proper receipt for fee collected then distributes medicationAssists the consumers with getting new prescriptions filledPrepares list and labels for group homes and outreach clinics Receives medication requests and refill requests from consumersAssists consumers with application for Patient Assistance ProgramAssists in printing labels and filling of medicationsCertified Pharmacy Technician with High School Diploma or Equivalent
