Summary JOB SUMMARY: Provides a wide range of evidence based, person-centered individual psychotherapy to a diverse population of persons presenting with mental health issues; completes timely and meaningful clinical documentation. Collaborates with other clinicians and multidisciplinary team members to meet the needs of shared patients and provides linkage and referrals as needed. JOB REQUIREMENTS: Graduate of an approved Master’s degree program in social work, counselingpsychology or other related mental health field. Active and valid Maryland licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor - LGPC required, LCPC preferredor Licensed Social Worker - LMSW required, LCSW-C preferred Wide knowledge of evidence-based theory and best practices. The ability to apply effective therapeutic methods across modalities with diverse populations and presenting problems. Ability to think critically and make sound decisions. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Ability to plan and organize time and tasks, ability to maintain composure under stress. Must obtain and maintain BLS Certification from the American Heart Association.
