Job Description

Associate or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT), and 1+ year of Cath Lab experience. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A skilled Imaging Cath Lab Technician position is available on a contract basis in Wilson, North Carolina. This role offers the opportunity to support cardiac catheterization and imaging procedures within a reputable healthcare setting. Location: Wilson is a vibrant city located approximately 45 miles east of Raleigh, NC. It offers convenient access to major universities like Duke, NC State, UNC Chapel Hill, and East Carolina University, all within about an hour’s drive. Residents and visitors enjoy proximity to Lake Wilson, just 15 minutes away, and can explore the historic Fleming Stadium, adding rich local culture and recreational opportunities. Responsibilities: Operate and maintain imaging equipment in the cardiac catheterization lab. Assist physicians and medical staff during cardiac catheterization procedures. Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the imaging process. Maintain accurate records and documentation related to imaging procedures. Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to provide quality patient care. Qualifications / Desired Experience: Proven experience as a Cath Lab Technician specializing in imaging. Knowledge of cardiac imaging technologies and catheterization procedures. Familiarity with Meditech electronic health record systems is preferred. Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Details: Contract position with bi-weekly orientation sessions. Upcoming start dates are scheduled on 3/16 and 3/30. Must be located within 60 miles or more for travel consideration.
