What Ultrasound contributes to Cardinal HealthDiagnostic Imaging uses advanced technology to create images of internal body structures, helping to assess clinical conditions and support diagnosis and treatment. This includes procedures like MRI, ultrasound, X-rays, CT scans, and PET scans.​Ultrasound offers services that use high-frequency sound waves to examine tissues and organs inside the body, helping to diagnose various conditions, including cancer.Responsibilities Perform routine diagnostic ultrasound procedures per physician orders and department protocolsEnsure high-quality images and proper documentation for radiologist interpretationPrepare patients for procedures and provide clear instructions and supportMaintain patient safety, comfort, and confidentiality at all timesAccurately enter and manage patient data within EMR/PACS systemsFollow established imaging protocols and escalate any concerns as neededAssist with maintaining cleanliness and organization of exam rooms and equipmentParticipate in quality assurance and continuous improvement processesCollaborate with team members to support efficient workflowQualifications0-2 years Ultrasound Technologist experience preferredAmerican Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonographs (ARDMS) certification requiredBreast Imaging experience highly preferredCPR/BLS certification preferredMust be available to work a 4/10 work schedule - no exceptionsWhat is expected of you and others at this levelApplies basic concepts, principles and technical capabilities to perform routine tasksWorks on projects of limited scope and complexityFollows established procedures to resolve readily identifiable technical problemsWorks under direct supervision and receives detailed instructionsDevelops competence by performing structured work assignmentsWorksite Location:Central Valley Medical and Women's Imaging (CVMWI)1125 E.
