Pediatrician (MD/DO) | Chicago, ILOverviewA well-established, mission-driven community health organization in Chicago is seeking a Pediatrician to provide high-quality, patient-centered care to children and families. This role is designed for a full-time provider, though part-time candidates may also be considered.Position ResponsibilitiesDeliver high-quality, patient-centered care in an FQHC Look-Alike setting through in-person visits and telehealthConduct well-child visits, immunizations, developmental screenings, and acute care visitsDiagnose and manage pediatric illnesses, chronic conditions, and behavioral health concernsParticipate in a shared 24-hour call rotation with other providersReview lab results, referrals, and emergency room discharges, ensuring appropriate follow-upCollaborate with interdisciplinary teams including nursing, behavioral health, dental, and specialty providersSupport education of patients, residents, medical students, and staff as appropriateParticipate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain a continuous improvement mindsetMaintain accurate, timely, and compliant electronic health records (EHR)Engage in community outreach activities as neededEnsure compliance with FQHC regulatory requirements and applicable funding/grant guidelinesQualificationsMD or DO from an accredited institutionActive, unrestricted Illinois medical licenseBoard Certified or Board Eligible in PediatricsCurrent NPI and DEA registration (or ability to obtain prior to start)Current BLS/CPR certification (PALS preferred)Experience or strong interest in community health and underserved populationsProficiency with Electronic Health Records (eCW experience preferred)Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team (medical, dental, behavioral health, etc.)Strong communication and interpersonal skillsSpanish language proficiency preferredCompensation & BenefitsSalary range: $160,000 - $215,000 based on experienceComprehensive benefits package including:Health, dental, vision, and life insurance403(b) retirement planMedical expense reimbursement planGenerous Paid Time Off (PTO) and paid holidaysAbout the OrganizationThis long-standing community health organization has served children and families for over a century, delivering integrated, high-quality care designed to support whole-person health.
