Veraxx has just won several long-term contracts to develop and upgrade domestic and international flight and aircrew training systems.Veraxx Engineering is seeking an Electrical Engineer to support the engineering team across a diverse set of flight simulation and training programs. This role will support multiple programs in a fast-paced design environment focused on customer satisfaction and support of the warfighter. Balancing innovation with execution, and translating training system requirements into robust, high-fidelity electrical solutions is required. The position emphasizes electrical architecture, interface design, and system integration across complex training systems.Innovative self-starter with strong hardware skillsAnalysis, design, documentation, hardware/software integration and testing of hardware components and assembliesDesign of cables and interface panels in AutoCAD for direct manufacturingCoordinate with systems, software, mechanical, manufacturing, and program management teams to ensure designs meet training system requirements and subsystem integration needsTroubleshooting hardware failuresProvide technical input, support design reviews, and subsystem acceptance activitiesCandidate will have the opportunity to work on a variety of flight simulators and develop/integrate hardware in areas such as avionics, cockpits, interfaces to audio, visual, Mixed Reality headsets, motion systems, I/O systems, and Instructor Operator Stations (IOS)BS Electrical EngineeringAutoCAD LTMicrosoft Word, ExcelHardware Engineering Concepts & ProcessesCommercial interfaces such as RS-232/422, Ethernet, Discrete I/O and Analog I/OAC and DC powerAnalog and Digital video interfacesLab equipment such as power supplies, multimeters, oscilloscopes, and soldering ironsDesire to learn about military aircraft systems and avionicsAbility to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance
