We're hiring a Regional Vice President (RVP) of Development in the Southwest region. As a RVP of Development, you lead the regionu2019s efforts to generate revenue by developing strategic relationships with executive and C-suite leaders. This is an exciting, fast-paced position that requires knowledge of general fundraising practices and executive engagement strategies. You will bring strong relationship-building skills, a result-oriented mindset, and a proven track record of fundraising success to the position. This is an office-based position that offers a hybrid schedule. This position will be located in the Dallas/Fort Worth or Houston, Texas area. We offer a base salary with the potential to earn an incentive up to 25% of your base pay. The potential incentive is based on achieving certain revenue targets. Responsibilities + Lead a portfolio of accounts and have responsibility for achieving an annual revenue goal of $5 million in year one and build to $10 million in year two. + Design, develop, and lead regional committees to achieve the region's strategic plan and fundraising goals. This includes identifying and leveraging strategic volunteer leadership relationships. + Develop and manage strategies that drive key regional initiatives from concept to implementation. + Collaborate with the region committees and staff to ensure strategies and implementation plans are coordinated across the region. + Cultivate innovative relationships with new and existing partners, and identify sponsorship opportunities to achieve results. + Foster a collaborative environment where staff from various functions work together to achieve results related to our mission and revenue goals. + Performs other duties as required or assigned, which are reasonably within the scope and responsibility of the job level and family. Qualifications + Bacheloru2019s degree or equivalent work experience. + Three years of experience in a development position in a similar non-profit organization. + Three years of experience in the management of staff, preferably development or fundraising staff. + Experience leading and cultivating high-level leaders at the C-suite level. + Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. + Ability to travel throughout the Southwest region approximately 75% of the time, including Arkansas, Colorado, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Texas, and Wyoming. + Professional communication skills. + Ability to lift and/or move large objects (such as boxes) with the expectation that heavier items would be broken down into smaller components or requesting additional assistance may be required before lifting and/or moving.
