Become a part of our caring community The Lead, Sponsorship Strategy role is responsible for developing and activating strategic sponsorships and partnerships that advance brand relevance, audience engagement, and business performance. This role partners closely with internal stakeholders and external partners to translate enterprise priorities into integrated, resultsu2011driven sponsorship programs that span planning, execution, and optimization. Reporting to the Director of Sponsorship & Experiential Strategy, the Lead, Sponsorship Strategy owns the dayu2011tou2011day strategy and execution of assigned sponsorships and partnerships. This includes setting activation strategies, managing crossu2011functional collaboration, guiding agency and partner relationships, and ensuring programs deliver measurable outcomes aligned to brand and business goals. Role Responsibilities + Lead the development and execution ofenterpriseu2011levelsponsorship strategies aligned to brandobjectivesand audience priorities. + Identify, evaluate, and advancehighu2011impactsponsorship and partnership opportunities informed by cultural insights and market trends. + Define and oversee integrated activation strategies that embed sponsorships within broader marketing campaigns and brand platforms. + Serve as the primarycrossu2011functionalliaison, aligning Brand, Media, Analytics, Legal/Compliance, Operations, and agency partners. + Owndayu2011tou2011dayprogram management, including timelines, budgets, deliverables, and partner commitments. + Drivecrossu2011functionalalignment and resolve risks or gaps through proactive communication andsolutionu2011orientedleadership. + Partner with analytics teams toestablishsuccess metrics, track performance, and assess program effectiveness. + Synthesize insights andpostu2011programlearnings to inform optimization and future investment decisions. + Support the Director in evaluating new partnership models, sponsorship opportunities, and strategic activation ideas. + Act as a trusted sponsorshipsubjectu2011matterexpert, influencing stakeholders and contributing to best practices across the organization. Use your skills to make an impact Required Qualifications + Bacheloru2019s degree or equivalent practical experience. + 6+ years of progressive experience in sponsorship marketing, partnership marketing, experiential marketing, or integrated brand marketing, with a demonstrated increase in scope and complexity. + Proven experience leading the strategy and execution ofmultiu2011channelsponsorships or partnerships from concept through activation, measurement, and optimization. + Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent sponsorship programs, including ownership of timelines, budgets, deliverables, and partner obligations. + Experience workingcrossu2011functionallywith marketing, media, analytics, legal/compliance, and operations teams to deliver integrated programs. + Track recordof influencingdecisionu2011makingand driving alignment among senior stakeholders without direct authority. + Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate strategy, provide actionable recommendations, and present performance insights. Preferred Qualifications + Experience working in regulated industries or large, matrixed organizations. + Familiarity with sponsorship measurement approaches, including brand lift, engagement, and ROI frameworks. + Experience managing agencies and external partners. + Passion for sports, culture, live experiences, and brand storytelling. + Preferred locations: Arlington, VA; Louisville, KY; Atlanta, GA; Boston, MA; Chicago, IL; New York, NY; Tampa, FL; Nashville, TN; Dallas, TX; Seattle, WA; Denver, CO; and Fort Lauderdale, FL. + The associate selected for this role shouldanticipateperiodicinu2011officework to support collaboration, key team meetings, and leadership engagement. Scheduled Weekly Hours 40 Pay Range The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc. $126,300 - $173,700 per year This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
