Collections Specialist

Description We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Collections Specialist to join our team in Charlotte, North Carolina. In this role, you will play a key part in managing accounts receivable and resolving collection issues efficiently. Responsibilities: u2022 Oversee and manage the collection process for commercial and consumer accounts, ensuring timely payments. u2022 Address and resolve exceptions flagged by AI-driven systems, maintaining accuracy and compliance. u2022 Coordinate with clients to resolve outstanding balances and negotiate payment arrangements when necessary. u2022 Maintain detailed records of collection activities, payments, and account statuses. u2022 Collaborate with internal teams to streamline the collections process and improve efficiency. u2022 Analyze accounts receivable data to identify trends and recommend process improvements. u2022 Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulations during all collection activities. u2022 Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries professionally and promptly. u2022 Assist with the implementation and optimization of new AI tools to enhance collection operations. Requirements u2022 Proven experience in collections, with a focus on commercial or consumer accounts. u2022 Familiarity with AI-driven tools and their applications in financial processes. u2022 Strong communication skills, with the ability to articulate solutions clearly and professionally. u2022 Self-motivated and able to take ownership of the collections function independently. u2022 Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail. u2022 Proficiency in analyzing financial data to identify issues and opportunities. u2022 Customer-focused mindset, ensuring positive interactions with clients. u2022 Flexibility to work both in-office and remotely, with a commitment to meeting set expectations.
