St. Lukeu2019s Health System in Boise is seeking a Medication Assistance Specialist to support our Infusion and Clinicu2011Administered Medication (CAM) programs. This is a unique role for a Pharmacy Technician who enjoys problemu2011solving, patient advocacy, and working closely with clinical teams to remove barriers to care. Why Youu2019ll Love This Role u2022 Hybrid flexibility: Work on-site with the option to work remotely 1-2 days per week after your initial 6u2011month training period.No Weekends or Holidays u2022 High-impact work: Help patients access lifeu2011changing medications by securing financial assistance and navigating support programs. u2022 Collaborative environment: Partner with providers, revenue cycle teams, manufacturers, and internal departments to ensure patients receive timely, affordable treatment. u2022 Growth & development: Build specialized expertise in medication access, financial assistance programs, and infusion/CAM workflows. Medication Assistance Specialist responsibilities include: Serve as a primary resource for providers and care teams by guiding them throughassistanceprocesses for infusion andclinicu2011administeredmedications. Identify, evaluate, and coordinate patient enrollment in both internal and external medicationassistanceprograms. Support patients by helping minimizeoutu2011ofu2011pocketcosts and ensuringtimelyaccess to essential therapies. Coordinate the shipment of free drug to St. Lukeu2019s care sites, ensuringaccuratedocumentation,timelydelivery, andappropriate billingworkflows. Act as a liaison between patients, providers, revenue cycle teams, and manufacturers to streamline communication and reduce barriers to care. What to expect: Location: St. Lukeu2019s Plaza Boise Hours: Full-time/ 40 hours week - Hybrid eligible after initial training period Schedule: M-F, no weekends, no holidays Required Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent Valid Idaho Pharmacy Technician Registration Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) Preferred Qualifications: 3+ Years of Pharmacy Technician experience - Infusion or Specialty experience is a plus Strong communicationand customer service skills. Ability to navigate complex processes with accuracy and attention to detail EPIC platform, MicrosoftOfficeand Excelexperience Understanding or Patient Assistance Programs for freemedications.
