Employment Type: Full time Shift: Evening Shift Description: Saint Francis Hospital is looking for an experienced Certified Nurse Assistant/Cardiac Monitor Technician to join our team of mission-driven healthcare innovators at Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center . This is a dual role that offers advanced EKG monitoring for patients in need of cardiovascular monitoring through evaluation of arrhythmia interpretation, along with assisting nursing staff as a Certified Nurse Assistant. What you will do + Collect and report patient information and data + Monitor the cardiac rhythms of patients + Help patients with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, diet, fluid intake, skin care, bathing and dressing, positioning, transfers, mobility and ambulation + Patient Transport + Collection of specimens + Distribution of linens and supplies to patient rooms + As assigned, stays with at-risk patients to monitor patient safety Minimum Qualifications + Education : High School Graduate + Experience : 1-3 years of previous job experience as a CNA, phlebotomy, and EKG performance. Cardiac Dysrhythmia knowledge is also preferred. + Certified Nursing Assistant: CNA certification, preferred, Medical Assistant (MA) certification will be considered in lieu of CNA. + Telemetry (EKG) Certification: Certification or successful completion of the cardiac monitoring course is required. Telemetry education from human biology, EMT-B, EMT-Paramedic, LPN, RN, PA, or healthcare specialty courses will be considered. + Phlebotomy Certification: Certification or successful training in phlebotomy with experience will be considered. + BLS or CPR certification: Current American Heart Association or American Red Cross will be accepted. + Ability to pass drug screenings and background checks.
