JOB REQUIREMENTS: Description: We are seeking a highly analytical,hands-on and results-driven Division Controller to oversee all financialand accounting activities at our production facility. This role is a keybusiness partner to plant leadership, providing financial insights thatdrive operational efficiency, cost control, and strategicdecision-making. Key Responsibilities: Financial Reporting & Analysis:Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting, ensuringaccuracy and compliance with internal policies and GAAP. Ensure a smoothand successful annual audit by maintaining accurate and well-organizedfinancial records. Month-End Close: Lead and manage the month-end closeprocess, ensuring timely and accurate financial statement preparation.Cost Management: Analyze production costs, variances, and inventory,providing actionable insights to improve profitability and costefficiency. Responsible for inventory valuation and standard costingsystems. Budgeting & Forecasting: Drive the plant's budgeting andforecasting processes, ensuring alignment with operational goals andidentifying cost control opportunities. Internal Controls & Compliance:Ensure adherence to company policies and internal controls to maintainfinancial integrity and accuracy. Collaboration & Support: Partner withplant management to provide financial insights and recommendations tosupport decision-making and operational improvements. Team Leadership:Lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including directreports, to foster a culture of continuous improvement, ensuring highperformance and alignment with organizational goals. Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or Accounting. CPA is a plus.10+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment, 5+ yrs in anaccounting leadership position Strong knowledge of cost accounting, jobcosting, and variance analysis. Proficiency in ERP systems, Excel,Microsoft Word, and PowerPoint. Skilled in account reconciliation, costanalysis, and financial reporting. Proven ability to drive change andprocess improvements through cross-functional collaboration. Hands-onapproach with a keen interest in the manufacturing process andcollaboration with production teams.
