Maintenance Mechanic

Description Maintenance Mechanic 1st shift (7am-5pm) Monday-Thursday $20-$30/hr Canton, OH- Assist with mechanical maintenance and repairs on production equipment, including press machinery and supporting systems.- Perform basic fabrication, welding, and metal repairs to support equipment uptime and facility needs.- Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems under the direction of the Maintenance Supervisor.- Support preventative maintenance (PM) activities to reduce downtime and extend equipment life.- Diagnose mechanical issues using sound troubleshooting skills and mechanical aptitude.- Safely operate hand and power tools while following all safety procedures and lockout/tagout practices.- Work collaboratively with maintenance and production team members to meet daily operational goals.- The Maintenance Assistant supports the Maintenance Supervisor in maintaining and repairing manufacturing equipment to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient production operations. This hands-on role is ideal for a mechanically inclined individual who enjoys troubleshooting and working in a closeu2011knit shop environment.
