Cyber Security Program Manager

Description We are looking for a skilled Cyber Security Program Manager to lead and oversee comprehensive identity and access management initiatives, data classification projects, and other cyber-focused efforts. In this long-term contract role, you will be responsible for guiding projects through their entire lifecycleu2014from planning and design to implementation and supportu2014while ensuring all objectives are met with precision. This position is based in Shelton, Connecticut, and offers an excellent opportunity to collaborate with vendors, stakeholders, and executive leadership teams. Responsibilities: u2022 Supervise and manage multiple cyber security projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards. u2022 Develop and present approved project charters to align stakeholders on goals and expectations. u2022 Coordinate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design solutions, test implementations, and deploy projects effectively. u2022 Maintain accurate records of deliverables, approvals, and project documentation. u2022 Serve as the central communication point between vendors, internal stakeholders, and executive leadership. u2022 Conduct regular status updates and track project progress against established metrics. u2022 Identify and address project risks, dependencies, and issues to ensure seamless execution. u2022 Monitor project budgets, comparing planned versus actual expenditures. u2022 Ensure alignment with cyber security products and methodologies, including tools such as SailPoint, Okta, and Delinea. Requirements u2022 Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management with a focus on cyber security. u2022 Strong expertise in project planning, milestone tracking, risk management, and status reporting. u2022 Proven ability to lead teams and resolve project-related issues effectively. u2022 Capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a dynamic environment. u2022 Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to engage with diverse audiences. u2022 Proficiency in Microsoft Project or similar project management software. u2022 Familiarity with cyber security tools and technologies such as SailPoint, Okta, and Delinea. u2022 Experience in enterprise-level data classification and identity management projects.
