Mechanical Assembler

JOB REQUIREMENTS: - Set up winding machinery for operation - Assembleunits according to three-view drawings or blueprints using coils,bobbins, cores, brackets, terminals, bolts, washers, nuts, insulation,magnetic laminations, enclosures, etc. using hand and power hand tools -Tape units, as necessary - Load and change spools of wire and coils -Test assembled units and verify units meet all electrical and mechanicalspecifications - Weld and solder copper and steel - Hand solder wire toterminals - Assemble core legs - Label products as appropriate - Followall policies, procedures, and Expectations - Computer keyboard entry ofall necessary production data OTHER EXPERIENCE ANDQUALIFICATIONS: - 2 years of steady work experience is preferred -Assembler has the option of standing or sitting (where permitted) whileassembling units, typically on an anti-fatigue mat - Be able to lift to80lbs- up to 6 times per hour - Must be capable of receiving,understanding, and giving clear, concise instructions in English, bothorally and in written form - Must be well organized, be capable ofeffectively achieving deadlines with minimal direct supervision and bewilling to work in a team environment APPLICATIONINSTRUCTIONS: E-Mail a Rsum: Apply Online:This position is listed by aprivate employment agency.
