The Contribution You'll bring to this Role: The Plant Controller at the Justrite Manufacturing Site will play a vital role in the business' operating performance. The position will be responsible for overseeing the Justrite Safety Group site's performance. This includes site financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, compliance, and providing strategic advice to plant and BU management on key drivers of site performance. The Plant Controller plays a key role in ensuring accurate, timely financial information for decision-making while also maintaining a controlled environment that upholds integrity. The individual is expected to be an active participant in the plant-level leadership team, helping to drive improvements in site-level performance. This individual will be a subject-matter expert in cost accounting, leading to improved product-line costing and driving overall plant productivity across the site. What You'll Do at Justrite: Site Controlling: Full P&L and Balance sheet ownership for the site. Leads the site's month-end close to ensure accuracy and timeliness Directly responsible for inventory, fixed assets, and plant liability reconciliations. Responsible for providing documentation and evidence for the annual audit and tax authorities Ensures that there is an effective and efficient system of internal controls, including data integrity, asset protection, appropriate approval levels, and adherence to corporate policies and government regulations. Site Financial Reporting and Forecasting: Communicate results effectively to management and non-financial personnel Provides in-depth analysis on variances to plan and forecast with the Site Ops Leader(s), as well as holding leadership accountable to the plant budget & forecast Participates in the development of annual operational objectives for the plant that are aligned with Corporate and the business unit'sstrategic objectives Leads updating forecasts quarterly to provide a real-time assessment of site results and the near-term outlook.
