Wet Etch Process Development Engineer

As a Senior/Principal engineer, you will be part of a ground-breaking Advanced DRAM R&D wet etch team. The position promises ample opportunities for innovation, collaboration, and testing a new dimension with Advanced DRAM You will work directly with Process Integration and other process areas such as Dry Etch, Metals, CVD, Diffusion, Lithography & CMP. You will contribute to brand new and outstanding wet etch tooling & own the process roadmap to meet program and yield goals Expectations for this role include, but not limited to: + Technically innovate : Drive strategic technical or tactical decisions at a project and platform level by contributing to high-level innovation feasibility studies; Regularly solves sophisticated problems before they become problems. Key challenges include vapor/plasma etching, selective wet etching, surface prep, and high aspect processing. + Technically Focus : Has the vision and technical skills to relate technologies and business plans of group and other groupu2019s projects; Actively builds Micron intellectual property; Aware of external technical advancements substantiated with understanding of the state-of-the art. + Impact Results : Leads Micron IP into successful technical readiness and transition to program integration. + Influence : Regularlydrivesproduct planning/roadmap, platform features, and functional area strategy. Successfully convinces management toinitiatenew projects. + Skill and experience : Regularly interact with senior management to provide consultation and influence technical and strategic decisions; Crafts alliances with customers. + Lead: Proventrack recordto lead multi-functional teams, Technology focus teams, etc.;demonstratesindependence and initiative in proactively developing and applying new skills in the most critical current or future domains + Mentor: Lead others within their technical subject area to achievehigh levelsof technical leadership;sharesknowledge with others, proven through mentoring, coaching, presenting, etc. Minimum Qualifications: + Proven experience in physics, chemistry, chemical engineering, materialscienceor an equivalent field isrequired. + Suitable experienceincludes:Research completed during pursuit of a PhD and 2 years of relevant industryexperience,ORaMasteru2019sdegree and 5 years of relevant experienceOR aBacheloru2019s Degreeand 7+years of relevant industry experience. Preferred Qualifications: + Experience in DRAM or Memory is preferred. + Experience working as a process development engineer in a R&D environment preferred. + Experience with coding,automationand/or data science is preferred.
