This role carries responsibility, authority, and accountability for nursing care delivered to patients and families throughout the continuum of care. This includes an understanding of growth and development across the lifespan and the ability to assess, interpret, and respond to patient needs according to ageu2011specific requirements, departmental policies, and procedures.
