OverviewThis is a hands-on, entry-to-mid-level role focused on the daily execution of course aesthetics and playability. Manage greens and maintain golf course grounds.Essential ResponsibilitiesTurf Maintenance & Care Mowing Operations: Operate walk-behind and riding mowers to maintain greens, tees, fairways, and roughs to specific heights. Bunker Maintenance: Rake and edge sand traps manually or with motorized bunker rakes to ensure consistent playing surfaces. Course Setup: Change cup locations on greens and rotate tee markers according to daily pin sheets. Aerification & Topdressing: Assist in specialized turf health tasks like core aeration, vertical mowing, and sand topdressing. Landscaping & Detailing String Trimming: Use trimmers around trees, cart paths, ball washers, and yardage markers. Flower & Plant Care: Maintain ornamental beds, plant flowers, and mulch common areas around the clubhouse and tee boxes. Debris Removal: Clear the course of leaves, sticks, and trash using blowers and hand tools. Equipment & Safety Daily Maintenance: Clean nd perform basic safety checks (oil, fuel, blades) on assigned equipment before and after use. Safety Compliance: Wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and follow all safety protocols regarding chemicals and heavy machinery. Required Skills & Qualifications Experience: Previous experience in landscaping, farming, or golf course maintenance is preferred but often not required for entry-level. Physical Stamina: Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work outdoors in all weather conditions (heat, rain, cold) for 8+ hours. Schedule Flexibility: Must be able to work early morning shifts (typically starting at 5:00 or 6:00 AM), including weekends and holidays. Attention to Detail: Ability to follow straight lines while mowing and spot issues like dry turf or irrigation leaks
