With more than 11,000 members across 90+ chapters in the U.S. and Canada, CFMA supports the industry through education, resources, networking, and thought leadership.Position OverviewAs the MarComms & Brand Assistant, you will support CFMA’s editorial, email, and digital marketing workflows, helping ensure content is produced, reviewed, and distributed efficiently across platforms.Working closely with the Director, Communications and cross-functional teams, you will contribute to the production of CFMA Building Profits magazine, execute email campaigns, and maintain brand consistency across all communications. This role requires strong attention to detail, organization, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Key ResponsibilitiesEditorial & Content ProductionSupport production of CFMA Building Profits magazine from article confirmation through final proofingTrack contributors, manage deadlines, and ensure accuracy, style, and quality standardsAssist with digital production across CFMA platforms, including BP OnlineMarketing & Campaign ExecutionDraft, build, and schedule email campaigns using HubSpotManage stakeholder reviews, revisions, and approvals from start to sendSupport marketing campaigns through content proofing and asset creationCreate visual assets using CanvaMaintain and ensure consistent use of CFMA’s Style GuideAdministrative & Operational SupportProofread communications and marketing materialsManage attribution requests, article reprints, and award submissionsProvide administrative support to CFMA committees and initiativesWorkflow & CollaborationTrack tasks, timelines, and approvals using monday.comCollaborate with cross-functional teams to meet deadlinesMaintain high standards of accuracy and organization across projectsWho You AreAn energetic and engaging communicator who is comfortable representing CFMA in outward-facing communicationsA detail-driven proofreader who catches what others missAn organized project manager who keeps deadlines visible and work on trackA clear communicator who collaborates effectively with contributors, committees, and cross-functional teamsA fast learner who adapts quickly to new tools and processesSelf-motivated and solutions-oriented, equally effective working independently or as part of a teamA collaborative teammate with a strong work ethic and a positive, professional presenceQualificationsBachelor’s degree or equivalent experience1-3 years of experience in communications, marketing, or a related fieldStrong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlinesProficiency in Microsoft Office applicationsExperience with HubSpot or similar email/CRM platformsExperience with Canva or similar design toolsFamiliarity with project management tools (monday.com preferred)Familiarity with Adobe products (InDesign preferred)Association or nonprofit experience is a plusWhat’s in It for You:Eligible for annual performance-based bonusMission-driven work supporting a nationwide professional communityCollaborative, supportive team cultureRobust benefits package, including:Medical, Dental, & Vision Insurance401(k) with 5% employer matchLife & AD&D (2x salary up to $250,000)Short-term & Long-term DisabilityPTO up to 20 days annually + paid holidaysUSD $47,000.00 - USD $53,000.00 /Yr.
