Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Residential Maintenance Techniciansfor projects located in the Columbus, OH area. This is a first shift opportunity, and the pay rate is $23-30/hour based on experience and skill level. If you are a Residential Maintenance Technician and want to work alongside other proven craftsmen who emphasize safety, productivity, and superior craftsmanship, this is your chance to advance your career!Job Scope: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on residential properties, including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general upkeepComplete interior and exterior repairs such as drywall patching, painting, fixture replacement, and basic appliance servicingConduct minor plumbing tasks such as fixing leaks, unclogging drains, and replacing fixturesHandle basic electrical work, including replacing outlets, switches, and light fixturesPerform general carpentry and repair work, including doors, trim, cabinets, and drywallMaintain exterior areas including repairs on ramps and railingsConduct regular property inspections to identify maintenance needs and potential safety hazardsEnsure all properties are safe, functional, and compliant with local housing codes and regulationsRespond promptly to maintenance requests and troubleshoot issues in a timely mannerPrepare units for new occupants, including cleaning, painting, minor repairs, and lock changesPerform preventative maintenance tasks such as HVAC filter changes, smoke detector testing, and weatherproofingMaintain accurate records of work completed, inspections, and maintenance schedules3+ years of experience in residential property maintenance including but not limited to electrical, plumbing, carpentry, HVACAbility to type minimum 36 WPMPass a drug screen, and background checkTradesmen International not only offers consistent work, top pay, and employment opportunities, we also provide a benefits package that is among the best in the industry.
