Join our Transportation team in Pennsylvania and help shape the future of mobility.As a Senior Transportation Planning/Traffic Specialist, youu2019ll work with planners, engineers, data scientists, and operations experts to deliver innovative, multimodal solutions that enhance safety, efficiency, and sustainability.When you join us, you'll be responsible for:u2022 Conducting transportation planning, traffic operations, and forecasting studies.u2022 Developing and evaluate alternatives to address project needs.u2022 Leading or support public engagement activities.u2022 Preparing and present clear, high quality technical reports.u2022 Applying a multimodal perspective across all projects, considering all users and travel modes.The successful candidate will have the following experience:u2022 Experience in leading or managing transportation studies for PennDOT/DelDOT or PA/DE localitiesu2022 Strong understanding of transportation planning and traffic engineering principles.u2022 Ability to develop innovative planning and mobility solutions.u2022 Skill in organizing, analyzing, and visualizing transportation data.u2022 Excellent written, verbal, analytical, and interpersonal skills.u2022 Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.u2022 Commitment to continuous learning and building client and team trust.#LI-LM1236 u2022 Bacheloru2019s Degree in planning or civil engineeringu2022 PE license or AICP certificationu2022 Substantial experience in long range planning, forecasting, transportation studies, and safety/traffic analysis for PennDOT and/or DelDOT or PA/DE localities including supporting on-call tasksu2022 Working knowledge of federal and state transportation planning regulationsu2022 Proficiency with tools such as HCM/HCS, VISSIM, Synchro, SIDRA, and ArcGIS.u2022 Ability to communicate effectively with technical staff, elected officials, and the public.u2022 Local to our Pennsylvania offices: Philadelphia or PittsburghJacobs is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
