DESCRIPTION: You'll be part of an innovative team advancing our mission to make the world healthier, cleaner, and safer. As an EHS Specialist III, you'll provide expert guidance and leadership in environmental health, safety, and sustainability programs across the organization. You'll collaborate with teams at all levels to develop and implement comprehensive EHS management systems, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and create a strong safety-focused culture. This role combines strategic thinking with practical problem-solving to protect our employees, environment, and facilities while ensuring regulatory compliance and operational excellence. REQUIREMENTS: u2022 Advanced degree plus 3 years of experience, or Bachelor's degree plus 5 years of experience in EHS in manufacturing, pharmaceutical, or chemical industry settings u2022 Preferred Fields of Study: Occupational Safety & Health, Environmental Science, Engineering, Chemistry, Biology or related technical field u2022 Professional certifications preferred: ASP, CSP, CIH or equivalent industry credentials u2022 Experience with HAZWOPER is a plus u2022 Comprehensive knowledge of applicable EHS regulations, standards and management systems (OSHA, EPA, NJDEP, DOT) u2022 Strong technical expertise in industrial hygiene, chemical safety, hazardous materials, and environmental compliance u2022 Experience developing and delivering EHS training programs and leading safety initiatives u2022 Proven ability to conduct risk assessments, incident investigations, and audits u2022 Excellent problem-solving skills u2022 Strong written and verbal communication abilities with all levels of the organization u2022 Proficiency with EHS software systems and Microsoft Office applications u2022 Experience with emergency response and business continuity planning u2022 Demonstrated success in organizational change initiatives u2022 Travel up to 10% may be required u2022 Additional language skills beneficial Compensation and Benefits The salary range estimated for this position based in New Jersey is $83,300.00u2013$111,000.00. This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy.
