Essential Functions: u2022Partners with District Manager and store leadership to drive execution of store operating systems, policies, procedures, and processes. They work directly with district and stores leaders to create a strategy and action plan that will address opportunities to improve the customer experience while controlling expenses and maximizing margins. u2022Responsible for teaching and training of store operations managers throughout the organization on all aspects of their role. u2022Builds relationships and effectively collaborates with key internal and external stakeholders, including Regional, District, Store leadership teams and city officials. u2022Manages, hires and develops a diverse team of both hourly and salaried asset protection professional within a multistore geographical area. u2022Train, assist and manage investigations conducting interviews, and post prosecution. Must professionally represent Loweu2019s in court and be skilled in handling depositions and other hearings. u2022Identifies and provides appropriate action steps to address internal or external theft / Organized Retail Crime concerns. u2022Leads and directs teams during emergency response situations, crisis management and civil unrest within a multistore environment. u2022Drives the development of tactical plans aligned with asset protection, safety, and business strategies to bring the vision into realization. u2022Owns, forecasts, and manages multiple financial accounts in assigned stores for key controllable expenses (e.g. shrink, general liability, Osha Recordable Rates, payroll, security, cash overs / short, price adjustments). u2022Evaluates assigned stores are operating within established company policies, procedures, and guidelines. u2022Performs store visits and reviews independently and in partnership with district leaders leveraging tools to improve performance, execution, and efficiencies. u2022Drive operational programs and system enhancements. Serves as field branch for corporate store operations during deployments of new programs and technologies by providing training, validation and accountability. u2022Provides open feedback and mentorship to team members, AP & store leaders to encourage growth and greater responsibility. u2022Trains store personnel on proper reporting procedures and evaluates district-wide compliance with all safety, security, and Hazmat related administrative documentation requirements. u2022Analyzes safety reporting to identify trends and help stores implement plans based off root cause analysis. u2022Analyzes data and reporting to identify shrink related issues, root causes, and trends within the district and works with store management, AP/Safety staff, and district-level team to address issues and trends. u2022Review, validate and provide direction on critical operational processes that have an impact on in stock and accuracy including but not limited to Freight flow, IRP, down-stocking, and cycle counts. u2022Coaches and develops associates around the processes and tools that have a direct impact on the customer experience. u2022Delivers consistent reporting, provides trend analysis, and supports the stores in the creation and deployment of plans to improve their financial performance. u2022Identifies key areas for improvement and ensures individuals and leadership teams close the gaps and hold team members accountability for execution. Minimum Requirements: u2022Bacheloru2019s Degree u20223-5 yearsu2019 experience in retail or professional environment in LP u20225 years of Multi store big-box retail experience u2022Demonstrated experience analyzing and using varied sources of data to understand underlying drivers of complex problems u2022Experience working closely with cross-functional teams Preferences: u202210 Years of multi-store retail experience u2022Experience working in an omni-channel retail environment u2022Demonstrated experience analyzing business documents (P&L, exception reports, etc.) u2022Experience conducting quality reviews/audits u2022Experience in using physical security systems (CCTV, EAS, etc.) u2022LPC/LPQ qualification u2022Certified Training Program (Wicklander-Zulawski or Reed training) About Loweu2019s Lowe's Companies, Inc.
