Position Summary: The Senior Windows Systems Engineer is responsible for administering and supporting a complex Windows server environment that includes physical systems, VMwareu2011based virtual infrastructure, Citrix, and Horizon platforms. This role provides deep technical expertise in Windows operating systems, ensuring that server configurations, deployments, and integrations follow architectural standards and support the performance and stability requirements of the manufacturing environment. This is a full-time onsite role in Taylor, TX. Responsibilities: + Configure, administer and support enterpriseu2011scale Windows Server environments across onu2011premise, physical, virtual, VMware, Citrix, and Horizon platforms, ensuring stability, performance, and security. + Serve as the subjectu2011matter expert for Windows OS architecture, providing guidance on system design, integration, and best practices for enterprise deployments. + Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot current Windows Server versions, delivering advanced system analysis, performance tuning, and configuration support. + Monitor system health using Windows and VMware event logs, performance reports, and web log files; identify anomalies and document corrective actions through established changeu2011management processes. + Provide technical consulting for application development teams, including interface design, system integration, and environment optimization. + Maintain comprehensive documentation of system configurations, changes, procedures, and architectural updates to ensure operational continuity and team knowledge sharing. + Deliver handsu2011on training, mentorship, and informal knowledge transfer to engineers and support staff to strengthen team capability. + Respond to urgent and escalated support casesu2014including afteru2011hours and weekend incidentsu2014to maintain uninterrupted operations in missionu2011critical environments. + Participate in infrastructure planning, lifecycle management, and modernization initiatives to enhance system reliability and scalability. + Collaborate with crossu2011functional teams to support production systems, resolve complex issues, and ensure alignment with organizational security and compliance standards. Requirements Qualifications: + 7+ years of progressive experience as a Windows Systems Engineer supporting largeu2011scale, multiu2011platform enterprise environments. + Bacheloru2019s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent experience; relevant certifications (MCSE, VCP, etc.) preferred. + Extensive handsu2011on experience with VMware VCF, Windows Server platforms, and virtualized infrastructure operations. + Advanced PowerShell scripting expertise with the ability to automate administrative tasks, build custom tools, and streamline operational workflows. + Deep proficiency with Active Directory Services, including DNS, Group Policy Management, domain replication, OU design, and identity/security administration. + Strong background in Windows clustering technologies, AD maintenance, and Windows Server Update Services (WSUS) configuration and support. + Proven ability to diagnose and resolve complex system issues through advanced troubleshooting, log analysis, and rootu2011cause investigation. + Demonstrated capability to work independently with minimal supervision while collaborating effectively on crossu2011functional engineering projects. + Experience designing and implementing Windowsu2011based solutions in highu2011availability, missionu2011critical environments. + Strong understanding of networking fundamentals, virtualization concepts, and enterprise security practices. + Communicate clearly and partner with technical and nonu2011technical stakeholders. + Provide effective knowledge transfer to peers. + Maintain meticulous documentation habits and proactively share insights that strengthen team capability. + Respond effectively to urgent or afteru2011hours support needs. + Must be eligible to work in the US for any employer without restrictions. + Must be willing and able to work full time onsite in Taylor, TX.
