This role will be based in Washington, with opportunities to support wastewater process projects across the company. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical skills, a collaborative mindset, and experience supporting wastewater treatment planning, design, and optimization efforts.Key Responsibilities:- Serve as a key technical contributor on wastewater process projects, supporting planning, design, and optimization efforts.- Apply engineering analysis and problem-solving skills to support solution development for wastewater treatment systems.- Collaborate with senior engineers and project leads on wastewater treatment projects, including system design, upgrades, and expansions.- Support detailed design and assist with project coordination for small to large civil infrastructure projects, including wastewater treatment facilities, pump stations, and collection systems.- Participate in the design and optimization of wastewater treatment processes, including physical, chemical, and biological treatment systems, to improve efficiency and minimize environmental impact.- Act as an assistant to Project Managers and Process Leads, as needed, supporting technical deliverables and coordination tasks.- Communicate with clients, regulatory agencies, and other stakeholders by supporting project updates, technical discussions, and compliance documentation.Qualifications:- 5+ years of relevant wastewater process engineering experience- BS or MS in Civil, Environmental, Chemical, or related engineering degree- Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification required; progress toward Professional Engineer (PE) licensure preferred- Experience with wastewater treatment processes, regulations, and technologies- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills- Demonstrated ability to provide excellent client service and work collaboratively with project teams- Excellent written and verbal communication skills- Willingness to travel within Washington for project sites, client meetings, and collaboration with other Kennedy Jenks offices- 5+ years of relevant wastewater process engineering experience- BS or MS in Civil, Environmental, Chemical, or related engineering degree- Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification required; progress toward Professional Engineer (PE) licensure preferred- Experience with wastewater treatment processes, regulations, and technologies- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills- Demonstrated ability to provide excellent client service and work collaboratively with project teams- Excellent written and verbal communication skills- Willingness to travel within Washington for project sites, client meetings, and collaboration with other Kennedy Jenks officesKennedy Jenks supports a healthy work-life balance and utilizes a hybrid model of h
